Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect as little as we can. We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use your videos for anything except making the export you asked for.

What we hold

• Your videos and exports, for as long as your plan says — about an hour on the free tier, 30 days on Pro. Then they are deleted.
• An account identifier. You can use vlickd without signing up; we still create an anonymous ID so your project belongs to someone. If you create an account, we hold your email address.
• Video details needed to do the work: file name, size, length, resolution, and which sections you asked to keep.
• Usage counts — how many exports you have made and how much processing they used — so we can apply plan limits and understand what the service costs to run.
• Server logs, kept briefly for security and debugging.

What we do not hold

We never see your card number. Payments go directly to Stripe, who send us only whether your subscription is active. We do not use analytics that follow you around other sites.

Who else is involved

• Google Cloud stores your files and runs the service.
• Firebase Authentication (also Google) handles sign-in.
• Stripe handles payments, under their privacy policy.

Files are stored and processed in the United States.

Your choices

You can delete a project at any time, and deleting your account removes your files and your record. Email dapcollections@gmail.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Uploads and downloads go directly between your browser and Google Cloud Storage over links that expire within minutes. Your files are private to your account and are never public.

Children

vlickd is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
