What vlickd does

vlickd is a web tool for trimming video. You upload a file, choose the section you want, and download that section as a new MP4. That is the whole service.

Using it

• You may only upload video you own or have the right to edit.
• Do not upload material that is illegal where you live, that infringes someone else's rights, or that depicts the abuse or sexual exploitation of any person.
• Do not use vlickd to attack the service or anyone else — no attempts to break the limits, exhaust resources, or reach other people's files.
• We may close an account that breaks these rules, without a refund.

Your files

Your video stays yours. We do not claim any rights over it, we do not use it to train anything, and we do not show it to anyone else. We process it only to produce the export you asked for.

On the free tier, files are temporary: your upload and its export are deleted shortly after you download, and in any case within about a day. On Pro, projects are kept for 30 days so you can re-edit them, and for 7 days after a subscription ends, after which they are deleted.

Paying

Pro is $7 USD per month or $60 USD per year, billed in advance and renewing automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account page; Pro features continue until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are described on the pricing page.

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

No guarantee

vlickd is provided as-is. We try to keep it working and your exports correct, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or that every video will process successfully. Keep your original files. vlickd is not a backup service and is not a place to store your only copy of anything.

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous three months.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the date above changes and we will say so on the site. Continuing to use vlickd after that means you accept the new terms.
